- Turn a spare iPad into a family display. Show the day’s plan on any iPad in the house, with no Apple TV needed. Choose “Use This iPad as a Family Display” on its first screen, then approve it from Settings > Displays on your iPhone or iPad.
- Made for iPhone Duo. Family Flight Plan fits both the outer and inner displays, and keeps your place when you fold, unfold or rotate.

- Search your family calendar. Find any event by title, place, notes or person from the Calendar tab.
Fixes and improvements
- The app opens straight to your family’s plan, even on a slow connection.
- Monthly events on the 29th, 30th or 31st no longer drift to earlier days after a short month.
- Repeating events keep their own time zone and any repeat rule set in Apple Calendar when you edit them.
- Deleting a repeating event asks before removing the whole series.
- The morning briefing skips days with nothing planned, and all-day plans no longer show as an early start.
- On Apple TV, the dashboard keeps your family plan on screen through short service hiccups, and explains why if the ambient display stops because Plus has lapsed.

- Flight Deck shows today’s plan, what’s coming up, chores, dinner and countdowns. Calendar and Week views show where the week gets busy.
- Quick Add for events, to-dos, chores, meals, board cards and countdowns, plus the Family Board, sharing from other apps and a Home Screen widget.
