These terms work alongside our privacy policy. App Store purchases are also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and media services terms.
Your account and content
You are responsible for your account email, your authorized devices, the invite links you create, and the content you add. Don’t use the service for illegal, abusive, or rights-infringing material.
Age requirements
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create a family or buy a subscription. You must be at least 13 to have an account. Children under 13 don’t get accounts. They can follow along on the family’s shared displays or with a parent, and a parent or guardian is responsible for the information added about them.
Family spaces
Family spaces are cooperative household groups. They are not emergency, medical, child-safety, or adversarial parental-control systems. Invite only people you trust. Per-item audiences are applied by authorized devices after decryption, and removing someone’s access can’t erase content they already downloaded.
Encryption and recovery
Family content is encrypted before upload. New families include Easy Recovery: Raven Vector holds a protected copy of the family key and can technically decrypt that family’s content. Owners of older families can turn this on from a device that still holds the key. An older family with no recovery copy and no trusted device holding its key can’t be recovered. You can export or delete your data with in-app controls.
Subscriptions
Family Flight Plan Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Apple. The price, renewal, and cancellation terms shown at purchase and Apple’s media services terms apply. The core organizer stays available under the current free and Plus feature descriptions. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription; manage it in your App Store account settings.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted delivery. Don’t rely on it as your only source for urgent schedules or safety information. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We may suspend accounts that are abusive or threaten the security of the service, and we may update these terms going forward. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
